Abstract
A method is presented for the design of feedback control laws based on the bilinear large-signal model of switching regulators. The resulting system guarantees a satisfactory stability region in the state space, and meets the requirements of larger damping on transient responses with smaller feedback control energy. Large signal transient responses are simulated and compared with the results obtained by R.W. Erickson et al. (see IEEE Power Electronics Specialist Conference Record, p.167-77 (1982))
