Abstract :
In this paper, the public techniques of the Internet of Things are studied, then the application prospect of the Internet of Things is established, after that, encoding card is designed to collect video, and monitor security process based on windows flat, using MPEG4 technology to encode the compressed video and audio streams, which can be transported on the network. Moreover, the driver of the card has been implemented and tested to complete communication with windows system, work stability, and as long as put the card on the PCI slot, it can collect video in parallel. So it has an extensive business prospect.
