Abstract
A new family of RISC processors have been developed that give system designers unprecedented design flexibility and delivers critical time-to-market advantages for embedded systems developers. LSI Logic´s CoreWare program addresses these dual needs of integration and differentiation simultaneously. CoreWare is for the 90s what ASIC technology was for the 80s. This revolutionary approach to embedded systems design allows system vendors to integrate the CPU, other standard cores, and customer-specific logic on a single “system on a chip”
