Abstract :
For solving the single point of failure (SPOF) about the bus controller (BC) in 1553B bus system, the intelligent fault-tolerant protocol (IFTP) layer over legacy 1553B bus was designed. Through maintaining the only BC node dynamically, the system can tolerate times of SPOF. What´s more, it makes the new BC node to be the most reliable one in the remaining living nodes through evolving reliability form. At last, the protocol was implemented and validated on the satellite-based high-performance 4-computer parallel system.
