Abstract

The article compares resistance requirement against environmental medium exposition, used in Poland and the USA especially for the examination of communication equipment, on the basis of METHOD 501.3 and METHOD 516.4 from MIL-STD-810 E and their Polish analogue WPN-85/N-01007 and WPN-84/N-01003. The convergence of the main purpose of the evaluation and the basic testing equipment are shown. The differences concerning how to prepare a test field and how to choose the duration of the climatic or mechanical exposition are also presented
