Abstract :
The principle of Reusable Learning Objects(RLO) is to break education material into smaller chunks of material that can be readily digested and more easily learn by the learner. Hence, creating and developing courses based on RLO(s) gives learners the option to select courses that rebased on the learners personalised needs, optimised to cognitive needs and financially viable as well as creating courses that are pedagogically based and give the ability to overcome traditional barriers to learning. the key problems faced by relevant stakeholders is the fact that there are very few guidelines available that can feasibly take pedagogic material and create the respective RLO(s). This paper attempts to introduce a key framework (life cycle) that can realistically and feasibly realise the creation of Reusable Learning Objects.
