Abstract
This paper addresses context issues in pervasive mobile computing and presents a semantic context model to support location based cooperative mobile applications. In this paper, a mobile learning prototype has been discussed as a scenario for evaluation of the context model. A Bluetooth based wireless solution is introduced for the purpose of integrating this model with the current e-learning system at UCE Birmingham. The aim of our research is to investigate some essential issues on a suitable context pattern applicable to contextual cooperative mobile computing.
