  • Abstract
In this paper we analysis the performance of Infostation information transfer using a hybrid automatic repeat request (ARQ) technique combined with adaptive modulation (AM). The ARQ scheme works in selective-repeat (SR) mode combined with adaptive modulation and maximum ration combining (MRC). First, we explain how our hybrid ARQ/AM scheme works to transmit fragmented information files. Then, we present numerical evaluation of average number of channel access (ACHA) needed to complete a file transfer.
