Abstract :
The authors consider the concentration dependence of the equilibrium carrier mobility and diffusivity at weak electric fields and show that carrier jumps to nearest hopping neighbors represent the dominant mode of hopping transport only for diluted systems with sufficiently low concentration of hopping sites. For high concentration of hopping states carrier jumps to states that are not nearest neighbors give a significant contribution to transport characteristics providing concentration-independent values for activation energies of the equilibrium carrier mobility and diffusivity
