Abstract
The time dependence of space-charge distributions in XLPE samples were discussed by an analysis model which is basically derived from the analysis of the transient conduction current. The transient space-charge behaviors are discussed by fitting the calculated results to the experimental data on the time variation of space charge behavior in both single layer XLPE and hot pressed two-layer XLPE samples
