Abstract
We analyse three different possibilities to reduce multi-user interference in a MC-CDMA system. First a quasi-synchronous uplink channel has been proposed with a relative synchronisation algorithm; secondly different diversity combining techniques have been simulated and evaluated in an uplink and downlink channel; finally comparing the performances of single and multi-user detection strategies a successive interference cancellation method has been used
