Abstract :
Results of UHF signal reflection measurement performed with dry and wet concrete walls using a spread spectrum sliding correlation system are presented. Larger proportions of incident power were reflected from the wet wall, and the change induced in the reflection coefficient due to moisture was approximately 10%. The reflection coefficient behavior under practical values of wall thickness, permittivity and incidence angle is discussed
