Abstract :
Methods of mechanics of continua are applied for studying the electrization of viscous dielectric liquids near the surface of a semiinfinite metal plane plate. The velocity of the gas is considered as given. Electrochemical reactions take place on the plate surface that possesses high conductivity. Electrization is produced by electrochemical reactions
