Abstract
A pulsating mode for the electric current flow in a low-conducting liquid is studied. It is shown that such a mode is due to the field threshold of ion injection from the electrode surface. The pulsating mode is accompanied by the propagation of the waves of a volume charge density and an electric field strength over the interelectrode space. The dependence of a pulsation frequency on properties of the liquid is examined
