  • Abstract
    The present paper reports the B-spline finite element method for the solution of advection-diffusion equation. The one dimensional time dependent ADV equation has been taken in to consideration with dirichlet boundary conditions. The main emphasis are given to the B-spline FEM for that some typical test examples are presented to demonstrate the performance of proposed scheme. Numerical results obtained from the present technique are found to be in good agreement with the exact solution.
