Abstract :
In the proposed work an Ant Colony Optimization model is proposed to optimize a resonant control in an active rectifier application. Active rectifiers are utilized in order to supply dc loads without polluting the grid by harmonics currents and consequent voltages. Optimization results are compared with Particle Swarm Optimization solutions and reveal interesting perspectives for further developments and implementations.
