Abstract
Implementation experiences with a distributed shared-memory system implemented in a loosely coupled distributed system are described. The goal was to investigate the feasibility of distributed shared memory (DSM) in an operating system kernel. The organization of the DSM described resembles a cross-processor segmented paging system.<>
