Abstract :
Deals with the electrical pressure of an electrohydro-dynamical (EHD) pump utilizing the polarization effect. The EHD pumping pressure is produced by applying direct high voltage (10~40 kV) between a ring electrode and a cylindrical electrode arranged in an insulated pipe filled with dielectric liquid such as n-hexane. It was experimentally found that the electrical pressure reached 21(Pa) at the applied voltage of 26(kV). When the applied voltage was over the threshold value, the electrical pressure was produced
