Abstract

This paper presents a study of regional effect on incubator function of innovation cluster from the perspective of knowledge management. First, the concept of Regional Incubator Function is defined. The reasons of both the birth and the development of the Regional Incubator and the effect of promotion of knowledge spillover are analyzed. Second, factors of the influence of the knowledge spillover among corporations within the region are analyzed. A model of knowledge spillover is built using data mining techniques. Finally, recommendations for policy control in the process of realizing the Regional Incubator are given.
