Abstract
This paper describes the dependence of the applied voltage on the electrical pressure of an electrohydro-dynamical (EHD) pump. The EHD pump is composed of a ring electrode and a cylindrical electrode. It was experimentally found that the electrical pressure was produced by the polarization effect in n-hexane in the same way as transformer oil. The n-hexane moved from the weak field cylindrical electrode towards the stronger field ring electrode without applied voltage polarity
