Abstract :
A new design of spring-less linear resonant motor for compressor applications is presented. The design utilizes magnetic springs to eliminate mechanical springs usually used in similar motor systems. The design method used in this design has been verified experimentally in a previous work. The previous work design, construction and some test results are also presented in this paper.
