The research on ecological preservation strategy of chinese traditional residence

In China, the preservation of traditional residence in historic district is an urban problem of most concern. The purpose of writing this article is to provide some ecological preservation strategies. Beginning with the analysis of three typical preservation modes, the article firstly summarizes the existed common issues. Then, the ecological preservation conception is brought forward, followed by the principles of this kind of preservation. And basing upon the theories, the article expounds the strategies, which include the strategy of the function reuse, the strategy of popularization of techniques, the strategy of preservation which depends on the local situation, the strategy of establishing some related policies. Finally, the corresponding examples are enumerated, which supply some useful methods to refer.
