  • Abstract
    When the system equation is transformed under mode frame of reference, the system of equations is coupled and shown by mode frame of reference. It is known as the method of modal space control Real-time control is achieved because of mode control force according to the control algorithm. The active control experiment is operated for the three layers truss space structure. Meanwhile the theory of coupled mode control and control algorithm are introduced, and the operating principle is stated. The optimal layout of piezoelectric derive bar is obtained according to Riccati equation. After processing and analyzing the experimental data by using the five-point moving average smoothing method, the result is shown that the efficiently active control can be greatly inhibitive effects. Meanwhile the corresponding modal damping co-efficiency can be improved in different degrees.
