Abstract :
Some of the key issues on the physical layer of the FRAMES FMA2 wideband CDMA concept are discussed. The main emphasis has been in describing the physical channel structures. As the FMA2 has been designed to support variable and high data rate transmission, also the service multiplexing and the random access issues are discussed
