  • Abstract
The deformation characteristic of the overlying high-voltage tower in the construction process of a very complex road tunnel project in Shenzhen of China is analyzed by use of the finite element analysis software MIDAS/GTS. The deformation Laws, such as there is the certain quantitative relationship between the tunnel vault and overlying tower foundation, are obtained, it is showed that the laws are consistent with the site monitoring data of the project. The work indicates that how to keep the foundation stability and control its deformation of the overlying structure of a complex large-section tunnel and in the practical project, and is of reference value for similar projects.
