Abstract :
To improve the biodegradability and reduce the acute biotoxicity, The internal electrolysis technology was used to treat N, N-2Dimethyl Formamide (DMF) wastewater. Comparative experiments were carried out and it was determined that the internal electrolysis technology was superior to traditional processes in terms of treatment effect. Results showed that under optimal conditions pH=3, the mass ratio of Fe/Coke is 2 and the reaction time was 60 min the reduction in COD was greater than 50%. The ROUR of wastewater increased from 1.13 to 1.59, while the acute toxicity declined from 0.29 mgZn2+ · L-1 to 0.16 mgZn2+ · L-1 after treatment. The internal electrolysis technology is highly efficient in improving the biodegradability and reduce the acute biotoxicity, simple to operate, stable in performance and suitable for pretreatment of DMF wastewater.
