Abstract :
Riccati inequality may have a solution even if nonstrict frequency domain inequality is broken, In this paper the necessary and sufficient conditions of solvability of Riccati inequalities are derived. These conditions are expressed in terms of signatures of root subspaces of associated Hamiltonian matrix corresponding to pure imaginary eigenvalues
