Abstract :
The autoclaved aerated concrete block is based on cement, lime, gypsum, fly ash and sand as raw materials. It is porous concrete by the autoclave manufacturing processes and the aluminum as gas producing agent. It has many advantages such as light weight, high performance thermal insulation, sound absorption and so on. Aerated concrete blocks were usually used for maintenance structure in buildings. Applications of autoclaved aerated concrete block in new energy-saving building structure will be introduced in this paper. It is shown that the new energy-saving structure system combines very well physical properties of autoclaved aerated concrete with load-bearing capacity of the structural systems though explaining design method and demonstration projects, which meets the current China state standards of housing construction. So it is clear that the structural system has good performance and development prospects.
