A consideration on the method of transformation from whisper voice to voice sounds

Recently, the realization of transformation method from whisper voice to voice sounds is expected. We easily think of the method using PARCOR analysis when we consider this method. This method is as follows: 1) The vocal tract characteristic is estimated by using the PARCOR analysis. 2) The voice sounds can be generated from the whisper voice by convoluting a periodic pitch with the estimated vocal tract characteristic. However, in 1), this method needs a lot of computational complexity to estimate the vocal tract characteristic. In this paper, we propose the estimation method of vocal tract characteristic with a little computational complexity using the blind estimation based on over sampling instead of PARCOR analysis method.
