Abstract :
The formation of the M matrix required in many robustness analysis and design techniques is discussed. An algorithm is presented to compute M for problems involving only real parameter variations. The algorithm is based on formulation of an intermediate P matrix. The method presented is easily programmable and is useful in several robustness analysis and design studies. Advantages and restrictions are discussed.<>
