Abstract :
To remove turbidity and organic pollutants in papermaking wastewater and tannage wastewater,the fly ash coagulation treatment was carried out. The surface microstructure of fly ash coagulant, which was modified by acid treatment, was studied using SEM. The efficiency of coagulation by fly ash at different size and acid modified was investigated. The results show that the effect of fly ash coagulant is obviously much better than single Al2(SO4)3 and FeCl3, and coagulation mechanism is adsorption and fly ash coagulant higher electric charge is favor of adsorbing the suspending colloid impurities in wastewater.
