Abstract
A method for verification of coverage in cellular systems is presented. It consists of estimating the cell radius based on received signal strength measurements. The next step is to evaluate the proportion of received signal strength measurements above a given threshold at the cell border. This way the cell border probability is evaluated. The novelty of this approach is in the use of the sequential likelihood ratio test (SLRT) for determining whether the proportion of received signal strength measurements are above the design threshold. The SLRT is shown to require fewer measurements, on average compared with a fixed sample test
