Abstract
The proposed three-phase power factor correction circuit represents a series-parallel combination of two boost-delta stages. Six bi-directional or three `quasi tri-directional´ switches are needed for the practical implementation. The boosting inductance and rectifying diode bridges are split, which makes possible a smaller individual size and better cooling. The circuit is operating in discontinuous conduction mode and achieves a low harmonic content
