Title :
The Jakes fading model incorporating angular spread for a disk of scatterers
Author :
Fulghum, Tracy ; Molnar, Karl
Abstract :
The effect of angular spread and nominal angle of arrival on the spatial correlation of fading waveforms is reviewed. A new method based on the Jakes model is presented which generates a group of M waveforms for a linear array of M antennas, where the waveforms are appropriately correlated with each other with direct consideration of the nominal arrival angle and angle spread of the scattered signal due to a uniform disk of scatterers about the mobile transmitter
