Abstract
This paper presents the study of a comparison of power losses and winding temperature in three-phase induction motors fed by with a three-phase PWM inverter and Six Step inverter. The experimental procedures used two adjustment techniques; 1. Constant D.C. link voltage inverter and adjusting the modulation amplitude 2. Six Step inverter. The two techniques were used to adjust v/f-type fundamental waves. The results indicated that the power loss and winding temperature of Constant D.C. link voltage and adjustment modulation amplitude technique is lower than the Six Step inverter.
