Abstract :
In order to identify the microstructure and component influences on rockburst tendency of diabase, the JSM-6510LV scanning electron microscope was used. The results show, as the contents of silicon and oxygen increase, the rockburst tendency of diabase increases; the less the fissures are, the larger the rock burst tendency is. So it is necessary to pre blast the compact diabase, in order to decrease the rockburst tendency of diabase.
