  • Abstract
The fabrication for composite Ag-TiO2 nanotubes was accomplished by hydrothermal way with the raw materials of commercial agents TiO2, NaOH and AgNO3. X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy was used to characteristic the structure of nanotube. The point is on the experimental conditions of the photocatalytic degradation of methyl red in the solution with Ag-TiO2 nanotubes. Through the experimental datas, Under UV irradiation, when the initial concentration of methyl red solution was 10mg/L and added 7g/L Ag-TiO2 composite nanotubes to it, adjust pH to 3, it can reach to a sound removal effect.
