Abstract :
This paper proposes a two-step procedure to estimate key motor parameters for AC motors with missing manufacturerpsilas motor specifications. Often users do not possess the motor specifications needed to provide optimal motor performance and protection. The manufacturer may never have supplied motor information, or the documentation may have been lost. This method provides motor users with a way to estimate the lost or missing information.
