Abstract :
Aiming at the phenomenon that the characteristics of engineering geology information and the potential value of monitoring data is now not exploited fully, an improved monitor and control process about stability monitoring and judgment of subgrade is proposed, which combines stability of subgrade with numerical simulation technology. Based on the experimental road section of Qingdao-Yinchuan highway in soft soil area, a engineering geological model has been built by using PLAXIS finite element program, and the numerical analyses are performed, which involves the whole coefficient of safety, the pore pressure dissipation and the plastic zone extension of subgrade with weak intercalated layer, then by virtue of the calculation results, the stability state of typical section is rejudged, the shortage of criterion method is improved, and the dynamic monitoring standard adapted to different embankment filling stage is drawn up.The case study show that the method has some theoretical meaning and practical value to study the stability of subgrade with weak intercalated layer.
