Abstract :
Water quality assessment is an important way for the water supply enterprises to understand water quality conditions in the pipe networks. In view of the problem that water quality evaluation results for water supply networks are difficult to quantify, a new model for water quality evaluation was established by five-element connection number based on set pair analysis in the paper. And an applied example was studied with more satisfactory results. Compared with grey relation evaluation method, this model is perfect, the evaluating result is more reasonable and its resolving power is higher. Thus, a simple and effective evaluation method is provided for water quality evaluation.
