Abstract :
Taking account of the lack of code specification for the design of crossbeam of wide urban elevated bridge, analyzed the spatial behaviors of crossbeam considering it belong to the wide box girder, and compared with different wide girders. Discussed the effective flange width of crossbeam especially under the influence of prestressing, presented the reasonable design parameters and simplified method for crossbeam of wide box girders.
