Abstract :
This paper introduces a new approach of fieldbus analysis based on statistical methods combined with “Design of Experiment”. It was made a behavioral computerized simulation regarding different structures and topologies of fieldbuses, aiming to identify the effects of various parameters upon fieldbus performances. Based on “D-Optimal” analysis, it was generated a reduced set of experiments which yields significant results avoiding a large amount of computation if classical full factorial methods were been used. Also were plotted influence diagrams regarding the independent and interaction effects of five factors of influence on two factors of response.
