  • Abstract
    In this paper, a novel dual-band bandpass filter (BPF) is developed using the half-mode substrate integrated waveguide (HSIW) cavity with modified split-ring resonators (MSRRs) etched on the waveguide surface. The MSRR composes of an open ring resonator (ORR) with a mender line located in it. The approximate electrical equivalent circuit and filtering response of the CMSRRs Loaded HSIW cavity are investigated. The experimental results of the fabricated filter agrees well with the simulation, which shows that the proposed structure is a good candidate for dual-band BPF application and validates the proposed design flow well.
