Abstract :
Mach-Zehnder interferometer is widely used in optical applications. Numerous approaches have been applied to implement the Mach-Zehnder interferometer, and, among these approaches, the one based on birefringent material such as birefringent crystals is very popular due to its easiness of manufacturing. In this article, it is demonstrated how signal processing techniques could be used to design the birefringent materials based Mach-Zehnder interferometer.
