Abstract :
The rapid advancement of mobile communication technologies offers innumerable opportunities for development of video monitoring system in mobile devices. This article introduces and implements the two-way monitoring system based on Java Media Framework (JMF) and Android. The system is developed based on Java, which includes the design for server in personal computer (PC) and client in Android-based devices. Both server and client can be divided into three modules: data acquisition module, data transmission module and data transformation module. Through testing, both the client and server can monitor each other. System implements the expected function.
