Abstract :
Nowadays, in many practical problems, both decision and estimation are involved. Even if both have the same goal: to infer value of unknown state of nature based on noisy observations, there are some differences between them. While decision makes a choice of right or wrong based on some set of hypotheses, the estimation tries to minimize the error for the received signals. The current paper proposes a method for analysis of decision and estimation in noisy transmission systems based on a application designed in Lab View environment.
