Abstract :
In this paper, the quality gaps in the process of developing a new product in manufacturing enterprises are researched, and some mathematical models are constructed. In the process of new product development, the total quality gap is formed by the accumulation of the quality gaps produced from the stages of the development process. The quality gaps non-linearly increase with the development, and the quality gaps produced in the initial stages make greater contributions to the total quality gap.
