The development mode of ecological city based on the vision of low impact development

Low impact development model defines the urban development from a new perspective, to seek a new balance between urban development activities and the natural environment, and to take into account the interests of human society and natural environment. It has developed from the initial stormwater management technology into a new urban development model. This paper displays that we should change the traditional way of urban development, apply the concept of ecological into the whole process of urban development, establish the ecological values, and construct the ecological city with the principle of low impact development for the reason of eventually realizing the harmonious urban development with the nature.
