Abstract :
In order to quantitative analysis the characteristic of drivers´ visual search behavior, the paper proposed the conception of Visual Interesting Region(VIR), which includes area and barycentric coordinates two indexes. Firstly, the paper carried out the laboratory experiment and outdoor testing, and obtained the eye movement indexes. Secondly, the indexes of the area and the barycentric coordinates of VIR were calculated using Matlab. Comparing WSA, this method is a new breakthrough.
