Abstract
This paper discusses about the devices mostly used when listening to preferred Malaysian music. Unsupervised self-administered sets of questionnaires were distributed to 500 respondents living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. From the results it can be suggested that gender and age group contributed to the type of devices used when listening to this music. It is concluded that as a person get older, their preference on using ICT tools to listen to their preferred music also declines. This finding is important to alert the government, ICT provider and industrial manufacturers (consumer electronics and car) in upgrading and improving their services.
